// ABOUT

I’m an information designer and project manager, and I treat the two as one practice.

An infographic and a delivery plan ask the same question, which is how the right information reaches the right person in time. I work on that question in practice and in theory, with a PhD in cultural studies and an active PMP certification.

The design half began in 2002 in Moscow magazines. It led to The Guardian, where I was a staff information designer from 2012 to 2014. My infographics won an Information is Beautiful award, and my illustration work was highly commended in the MacMillan Illustration Awards. As a freelancer I’ve worked with Google, the United Nations, Adobe, IBM, The New York Times and Pearson.

The management half grew at Calvert 22 Foundation, a London charity, where I led digital production from 2018 to 2023. Since 2023 I’ve been Creative Lead for Marketing at Pilot Institute, where I build AI-driven design and production pipelines. I also take on freelance project-management consulting. I keep communication close and estimates realistic, which is why clients come back.

Based in Bogotá, Colombia. Formula Commons is my free-education project: a YouTube channel and a library of templates, formulas and prompts.
